British youth lead comp.

Hi guys, back in November Me, Scott,  my Mum and my Dad headed over to Infiniti Glasgow. We were picking up a car from the showroom for the trip down to this year's British Youth Open Climbing Competition being held in Leeds and Sheffield. When we got there we met with a man called Jason, he was really nice and showed us the car he was going to let us use for the weekend.  The car was lovely, it was a brand new white Q70S and after we had a mini photo shoot with it we heading back home to pick up the overnight bags and the climbing gear. When we got home and packed all the bags we said goodbye to my Mum and headed down to Leeds.
The car was really comfy and on the way down and  we seen some lovely sights, like all the hills as we left Scotland and we caught the start of the sunset. That night we were staying in a Premier Inn.  Before we settled in we headed straight back out and over to Leeds climbing wall. When we got there we weren't planning on climbing, but just for a wee look around the place. We  went down and looked at the wall  first. It was really cool. My favourite part was the overhang. Once we had a peek about we headed back up stairs and we went for a look in the shop. While we were just wondering about I seen a pair of really nice shoes. I tried a pair on and they were really comfy.  We then decided to buy them for the comp but because it was the next day and I hadn't yet broke them in, so we went to the front desk and signed in. They had had to make sure my Dad could put on a harness and after that they let us climb. I only done a couple of 6a+'s then i moved on and tried a 7a. I managed to get it. After that we went to do some boulders. They were really cool. We didn't do too much and just called it a night.
The next day was the day of the comp. It was the lead comp today and the Boulder comp the next.  I was feeling strong and hopeful. When we got there I found out what routes were mine and watched the demo which was set up at the side of the wall. They then put up the running order and I was 5th up so I started to warm-up.  On my first route I managed to top it.  We quickly moved onto our second one and I was about 13th up. I managed to get roughly where everyone else got to. When the results came 5th... so I had qualified.  I went into the isolation and was back out to view the route. Mine was girls youth B's second route. It was really crimpy and at the start it had a finger crack.  The 6 or so minutes was up and I went back to isolation. I stared warming up again . I was 4th out. When I went out  I managed to get quite high. When I came off I was really close to the top.
When results were posted it said I was 1st. It was amazing. When they done prizes I won a harness.
